Turkmenistán, el país más insólito del mundo
Turkmenistan is one of the most hermetic countries in the world. Its democracy and press freedom indexes are among the worst on the planet, at levels similar to those of North Korea. Its president, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, established a unique cult of personality. Since he took office in 2006 he has been present in every public place. Ashgabat, the capital, became a majestic city. It holds the record for the number of white marble buildings, which are no less than 543. However, outside of all that opulence, it is believed that much of the population lives in poverty. Berdimuhamedov even banned talking about coronavirus, and the country's soccer league was not suspended last year. That is why the country is not registered in the official statistics related to the pandemic. Difficulties entering the country make it very difficult to see the incredible Darvaza gas crater, also known as Door to Hell. It is a well of almost 70 meters in diameter that has been burning for half a century. From the local gas reserves it is not known how long it will continue to burn. 🌎 Un Mundo Inmenso Singularities of our planet. ✅ Subscribe! https://bit.ly/2POYtLu 🌟 Become a member! https://bit.ly/2YrLbf8 🔥 Follow: / unmundoinmenso / unmundoinmenso / mundoinmenso Sources and credits: https://pastebin.com/d43vK8vW
