Today, I am going to prepare a cherry jam that is perfect in both color and taste. To make the cherry jam, first, I clean the cherries. I wash the cleaned cherries and add them to a strainer. After the cherries have fully drained, I put them into another bowl. Here, I have used one and a half kilograms of cherries. I use an equal amount of sugar as the cherries, so one and a half kilograms of sugar. I sprinkle the sugar evenly over the cherries so that it covers them all. I do not add any water to the cherry jam. I let it sit for about four to five hours so that the cherries release their juice. Once the cherries have released their juice, I place them on the stove and cook them. While cooking, I remove them, and then I coat the inside of the jar on both sides with vinegar so that the foam gathers in the middle and is easier to collect. After the jam cools, I put it into jars, and we store it for the winter. That's it!
