CCI STINGER vs CCI VELOCITOR - Ballistics Discussion

Stinger: 32gr Bullet 1640 FPS Velocitor 40gr Bullet 1435 FPS The Velocitor has a 20% heavier bullet and is 12.5% slower then the Stinger. What the extra MASS will give you is better longer range ballistic, better terminal ballistics (as penetration goes). It is still considered a hypervelocity ammo. The Stinger will expanded in tissue faster and more violently, but will not penetrate as far as the Velocitor. When we are talking a light slower bullet like the .22LR I'd rather have as much penetration as possible. What will stop an intruder or offender: 1. Disruption of the central nervous system which includes the Brain, Brain Stem, and Spinal Cord. 2. Disruption of the hearts ability to pump blood by either damage to the heart itself or hypovolemic shock (blood loss). 3. Disruption of the bodies ability to oxygenate the blood by damage to the Lungs. 4. Disruption to the Musculoskeletal system.
