In today’s video, I’m heading to the library and choosing books without the help of Goodreads, BookTok, BookTube, or any online reviews. No scrolling, no ratings, no “popular right now” lists—just me, a library card, and the back of the book. This is how I used to read growing up: totally unplugged, choosing books based on instinct and curiosity. So I challenged myself to go back to that. I can’t Google the title, I can’t recognize the book from social media, and I’m not allowed to check if it has five stars or one.
