The Frequency vs. Temperature graph for OCXO crystals (typically AT-cut or SC-cut) is actually Cubic (S-shaped), not Quadratic (U-shaped). The parabolic curve shown in the slide is just a zoomed-in approximation of the crystal's 'turnover point' (the upper inflection peak) where the oven operates. Standard AT-cut crystals are third-order polynomials, not parabolas. Thanks!
