For non-commercial goods, this process has some special points to note. Below are the basic steps for customs declaration for non-commercial goods: 1. *Prepare customs documents* *Customs declaration:* Use the declaration form appropriate to the type of non-commercial goods (e.g., gifts, samples). *Commercial invoice:* Provide details on the value and quantity of the goods. *Transportation documents:* Including bill of lading, waybill or transport contract. *Documents proving origin:* Certificate of origin or related documents if required. *Other documents:* Import license (if any), sales contract, domestic purchase invoice, power of attorney (if the person carrying out the procedure is not the owner of the goods). 2. *Register customs declaration* Access the electronic customs declaration system (VNACCS/VCIS) to register the declaration.
