The Rocío Brotherhood of Los Palacios y Villafranca began its journey to the village of El Rocío this Wednesday to celebrate Pentecost, following the traditional pilgrims' mass officiated at seven in the morning by Auxiliary Bishop Teodoro León. More than two thousand pilgrims are accompanying the brotherhood's banner in a colorful and large procession that will travel the roads until its presentation to the Virgin next Saturday. This is the first of nine planned reports, chronicling the pilgrimage from the departure of the Brotherhood from Los Palacios to its arrival at the ferry crossing in Coria.
