Paardenmarkt in Heenvliet

On Whit Monday, the annual traditional horse trade takes place in Heenvliet. From 6 a.m. onwards, the first traders arrive at the Market in Heenvliet with their horses and ponies. It was very hot on May 25th, so the animals could only be viewed until 12 p.m. More than 100 horses and ponies were present. As always, there was a huge crowd in the village, which also features a large street fair and, not to forget, one of the largest funfairs in the Netherlands.
