Se trata de la ciudad Grecoromana de Paestum. Una ciudad fundada por griegos hace 3000 años en el periodo Arcaico. Qué puedo decir acerca de un lugar así, cuánta historia han podido vivir estos edificios. Me quedé asombrado al ver los tres templos que se alzan majestuosos en medio de esta llanura. Templos los cuales su estado de conservación no tiene nada que envidiar a el famoso templo de Atenea en la acrópolis ateniense. Sobre todo destacar el templo de Neptuno o Poseidón en la época griega, toda una maravilla del mundo antiguo. Además de los templos, cabe destacar mi llegada al lugar en un tren de los años treinta restaurado, y mi fortuna al encontrarme en el yacimiento con descendientes directos de las personas que allí vivieron; vaya suerte la mía.
