Hey guys gals and non-binary pals! ⚠️SPOILER WARNING FOR ANYONE WHO HASN’T WATCHED THE SERIES FINALE⚠️ So basically my AU is that Arthur never died in the field in the last episode. Merlin saved his life with Kilgharrah’s help and they went back to Camelot together. Arthur still knows about Merlin which led him to the conclusion that maybe Merlin is more special than he thought-in more than one way. Arthur started losing feelings for Gwen and said they can remain King and Queen until he can sort out his feelings. They’re still king and queen but they’re on a break to figure out what to do. It’s like Ross and Rachel from FRIENDS but they’re ACTUALLY on a break. Idk if any of you got that reference but yeah.
