https://tallships.antwerpen.be/en/de-... The Tall Ships Races are an initiative of Sail Training International in 2022, This year 43 Countries Ships are Participating .This organization gives young people the chance to learn how to sail. Whatever their background, nationality, culture, religion and sex. Although the word "races" is used, the focus is certainly not on competition. The main goal is to create understanding, respect and friendship, defying country borders. An admirable action, that got nominated for the Nobel prize of Peace in 2007. The Tall Ships Races consists of 2 races. The 1st race started in Esjberg (Denmark) on 7 July 2022, from where the ships sailed to Harlingen (The Netherlands). From there they went to Antwerpen (Belgium). After 3 days of festivities there, the ships will set course for the 2nd race on 25 July 2022 to Aalborg (Denmark).
