TRIP REPORT | The Flight We All Desire on Holidays! | Corfu to Manchester | JET2 Boeing 737

Jet2 Trip Report flying from Corfu to Manchester onboard one of the Jet2 Boeing 737 (painted with the Jet2Holidays livery) on a lovely summer afternoon. An amazing and comfortable flight with Jet2 from Corfu to Manchester with Jet2. As we already know, flying with Jet2 is equivalent to feel on holidays since the very first step into the plane. And that was exactly what happened on this flight. It's a mix of many things I guess: the cabin crew, the gate crew, the type of communications your get from Jet2 the previous days, the cabin of the plane, the music on the plane, the type announcements onboard... everything together makes a really amazing mood for the passengers. You might like Jet2 style or not, but what nobody can't negate is that they are extremely original and unique. Just before departure the captain gave some info about the route and also informed that due to the short runway in Corfu and a full loaded plane, we were going to use all the thrust available on this B737. What an engine roar during takeoff and climb! Together with the breathtaking views of Corfu and Kerkyra island, it was the perfect way to start our trip to Manchester. Our route today had a lot of potential to offer the passengers some really amazing views. We were lucky enough to not have any clouds on the key moments: we were able to see all the Croatian coastline, with its clifs and islands, we had the most amazing views I've ever had of Venice and, after that, we had some perfect views of the Alps (for the first time in lots of flights, without any mist or clouds). After that, we found lots of clouds, but we found a little gap just to see the English Channel and, after that, all the approach to Manchester was over the always-green landscapes of western England. For today's flight I tried the beef pre-ordered meal. Not bad at all, but I think it's not at the same level as the all-day-breakfast meal. The rest of the menu onboard follows the "pay-per-eat" model which, in my opinion, is far better than what many legacy airlines are starting to offer now in their economy classes for European flights. The Jet2 onboard menu has lots of hot meals and sandwiches which is, in my opinion, the key for a good onboard menu. All in all, an amazing flight from Corfu to Manchester, with the best views I've ever had of Venice from a plane and some very nice of the Alps. This is, without a doubt, what we all wait from a Holiday flight: perfect mood of the crew, perfect weather, great plane, breathtaking views and a tasty menu to choose from. Now it's your turn!
