Every year, we are treated with a new, sparkly shimmer ink from Jacques Herbin (J. Herbin). This year, Kyanite du Nepal makes its introduction to the 1790 line of Anniversary inks. This bright, cerulean blue has silver shimmer particles and a bit of reddish sheen. In this video, we unbox, swatch the color using a watercolor brush, dip test using a Brause pumpkin nib, and ink up an Opus 88 Demonstrator with a 1.5mm nib to show off a writing sample with a fountain pen.
