Eastleigh Lakeside Railway Surrey Border & Camberley Railway Gala 2025

11/5/25 After being postponed from last year, on the 9th - 11th of May 2025, Eastleigh Lakeside Railway set about to recreate the days of the Surrey Border & Camberley Railway, but with a twist, not all of these locomotives at the gala were ever seen working together at once, so they decided to change that! For the time ever, 7 H.C.S Bullock built locomotives ran together on an intensive timetable! I was so pleased to be able to attend this gala, I have a soft spot for the Bullock locomotives, and it gave me the opportunity to finally see Bullock 0-6-0 tender locomotive 'Firefly', after hearing about the closure of the Kerrs Miniature Railway, I thought I had missed out on my chance to see it, but 5 years later, now a resident at Eastleigh Lakeside, Firefly was able to make the lineup!
