MGB thermostat housing
Well, I was going to change out my thermostat on my '72. I thought it would be an easy job. It's proving not be. This video mentions a few ways to unscrew the studs, because the housing is not likely to come off unless the studs are out. I didn't mention heating with a blow torch, but that's another possibility. I also may revise my MGB's 3 thermostat housing's fasteners and use three bolts (not studs) of the appropriate length, to make future maintenance easy. 😃 Happy Motoring!
