MIT admits Equity Scholar Christine Njeri
Christine Njeri is a former student of Maryhill Girls' High School where she got an A- in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exam. The Wings to Fly scholar from Kamukunji has seen her mother struggle to take her through school and has always hoped for a brighter future for her family. Through the Equity Leaders Program, she has secured a scholarship to join MIT to study engineering. Watch to her story.
