Virgin Trains 390131, Manchester Piccadilly to Birmingham New Street - 25/08/2018

Filmed on 25/08/2018. Another train ride in action with Virgin Trains. Now, Virgin Trains runs a daily service from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston via Birmingham New Street. But this this day, there is an hourly service. (Season 5 Episode 36) Due to engineering works south of Milton Keyns Central, London Euston was shut. Virgin Trains normally runs 3 trains an hour from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston which was reduced to just one train an hour for Milton Keyns Central. The 2 other services headed for either Birmingham International or Wolverhampton. The working diagram for 9B12 is as follows: Manchester Piccadilly (10:15) Stockport (10:25) Macclesfield (10:37) Stoke On Trent (10:54) Stafford (11;15) Wolverhampton (11:38) Birmingham New Street (11:54) Birmingham International (12:07) The train was slightly delayed due to other late running services. Apart from that, it was a unusal quiet service to Birmingham New Street.
