Solo Backpacking & Fly-Fishing In the Wind Rivers of Wyoming

Join me on a solo backpacking adventure deep into Wyoming's incredible Wind River Range! This video documents my first trip exploring the raw beauty of the Winds. While I initially planned some peak bagging and general exploring, I quickly caught fishing fever! Follow along as I focus primarily on fly fishing remote high alpine lakes and streams, catching some beautiful native Cutthroat Trout and relentlessly searching for the legendary (and elusive) Golden Trout. This Wind River journey was long overdue, and the reality exceeded all expectations. The dramatic mountain scenery, the rewarding high-altitude trout fishing, and the truly rugged wilderness feel made this trip the highlight of my summer. It was an unforgettable experience exploring this part of the Wind River Range solo and searching for Golden Trout.
