Step-by-step approach. Tips & Tricks. Buy the Denon X4500H on Amazon: https://bit.ly/DenonX4500H Step 1: Place your speakers optimally in your room and apply treatments. Step 2: Download the MultEQ App for iOS and Android for $19.99 Step 3: Plug in the setup mic and the cardboard stand Step 4: Follow the instructions on that Step 5: Do all the measurements. Don’t cut it short. Step 6: Double check results for obvious errors. Step 7: Decide whether you want to use Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume. Step 8: Save original measurement. Step 9: Make a copy of the original file and make changes to copies. Step 10: Set treble roll-off. Step 11: Turn off Midrange Compensation Step 12: Set a custom house curve aka target curve. Step 13: Limit the filter frequency range to about 500hz-700hz. Step 14: Set all speakers to “small”. Step 15: Set crossovers to 80hz or higher to start. Step 16: Set Audyssey to Reference, not Flat. Step 17: Turn off all extra sound processing “enhancements.” Step 18: Listen to familiar music and set bass and treble tone controls to your liking. Step 19: Turn off ECO mode. Step 20: Set 4 Quick Select profiles on your remote.
