Mazatlán-Style Sierra Fish Ceviche 1/2 lb ground sierra fish 1 1/2 lbs grated carrots Juice of 4 limes 1/2 red onion, chopped 1 bunch of cilantro, finely chopped Salt to taste Avocado for garnish Tostadas Marinate the fish with lime juice and salt for 35 minutes. Remove excess lime juice. Add the vegetables and mix. Serve on tostadas and garnish with avocado. My Mom's Sierra Fish Ceviche Recipe 1 lb ground sierra fish Juice of 4 large limes Salt 2 large tomatoes, chopped 1/2 white onion, chopped 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped 2 avocados, chopped Marinate the fish with lime juice and salt for at least 35 minutes. Add the chopped vegetables, including the avocado, and stir gently to avoid over-mashing the avocado. Serve on tostadas. Salsa Lemon Grind 1 serrano chile in the juice of 2 juicy lemons.
