More Grammar Rules ↓ ● A/V ◎ 1. (ㄹ / 을)걸요 Present / Future tense Combined with an adjective or a verb [Rule] 1) When a verb ends with a vowel, put ㄹ 가다 (To go) + ㄹ ☞ 갈걸요 = One (will) probably go ~ 하다 (To do ) + ㄹ ☞ 할걸요 = One (will) probably do ~ 막히다 (To be stuffed, jammed) + ㄹ ☞ 막힐걸요 = It (will) probably be stuffed or jammed 2) When a verb ends with a consonant, put 을 있다 (To be, to have) + ㄹ ☞ 있을걸요 = One (will) probably be~/has~ 먹다 (To eat) + ㄹ ☞ 먹을걸요 = One (will) probably eat ~ 3) When a verb ends with ㄹ, attach the sentence ending only *팔다 (To sell) + ㄹ ☞ 팔걸요 = One (will) probably sell ~ ● Noun ◎ 1. ~일걸요 Present / Future tense Combined with a noun [Rule] Attach this ending after a noun 박물관(museum) + ~ 일걸요 ☞ 박물관일걸요 = It (will) probably a museum 고양이(cat) + ~일걸요 ☞ 고양이일걸요 ● A/V ◎ 2. (았/었/했)을걸요 Past tense Combined with an adverb or a verb [Rule] Just like we learned in the previous lesson, ㅏ and ㅗ have a tendency to get along with 았 whereas ㅓ,ㅜ,ㅣ are used with 었. Therefore, 오다(To come) + ~았을걸요 ☞ 오았을걸요 ☞ 왔을걸요 = One probably came 가다 (To go) + ~았을걸요 ☞ 가았을걸요 ☞갔을걸요 = One probably went (When it comes to a verb that ends with a vowel ㅏ, you have to attach ㅆ only) 자다 (To sleep) +~았을걸요 ☞ 자았을걸요 ☞잤을걸요 = One probably slept 먹다 (To eat) +~었을걸요 ☞ 먹었을걸요 = One probably ate (There is ‘ㅓ’ in 먹다 so do as in 었. That’s why 었 has to be used) 만들다 (To make) + ~었을걸요 ☞ 만들었을걸요 = One probably made For 하다 verbs, you have to use 했을걸요 form 공부하다(To study) + ~했을걸요 ☞ 공부했을걸요 = One probably studied ● Noun ◎ 2.
