Treatments that don't work are the bane of aesthetic medicine. In this video, I've prepared 9 situations and wrinkle treatments that are not worth trying. Watch! :) #krakow #checkmycosmetics 00:00-01:29 1. Eyebrow lift for drooping eyelids 01:30-03:46 A tissue stimulator that's not a stimulator 03:47-05:21 A treatment from a series you do once 05:22-06:55 Botox for the corners of your mouth when you have gaps 06:56-07:57 Mesotherapy for hair when you don't have hair follicles 07:58-09:31 Bags under the eyes and hyaluronic acid 09:32-11:55 Lifting threads for weak skin 11:56-12:37 Lipolysis for weight fluctuations 12:38-13:53 Lipolysis for sagging skin 13:54-14:55 What WORKS? I've selected 9 treatments for you that, in my opinion, don't work. What are they? Listen on. Treatment number 1. This is a brow lift when your eyelids are actually drooping. Sometimes you come to me and say you want to lift your eyebrows. Often, for example, with Botox or thread lifts. But the problem isn't the eyebrows. It's the eyelid, which is excessively droopy. When there's too much skin, lifting the eyebrows won't help your eyelid at all. In that case, consider blepharoplasty, not eyebrow lifting. This is the most common mistake: the eyebrow and the eyelid. And simply tightening the eyebrow won't simply lift the eyelid. However, there are cases where lifting the eyebrows, for example, with Botox, is possible. But remember: This eyebrow lift is a matter of two, sometimes three, millimeters. Not one centimeter. So don't expect too much from this eyebrow lift treatment. These are very subtle changes. These are changes you'll notice. Someone on the outside might think you look a little more radiant, fresher. So these are changes worth fighting for. But these are tiny, tiny 2 millimeters. Not the entire brow lift range. Probably number two is a stimulant, which isn't a stimulant at all. For some time now, there's been a huge trend of calling products stimulants. It's a very catchy name, and companies are arguing over which product is the stimulant. Remember, anything that stimulates our skin to activate these repair processes, activate cells that will later produce collagen, is skin stimulation. And from this perspective, even the slightest needle prick, bump, and bruise on the skin is stimulation to some extent. So don't be fooled by these fancy names that something is a stimulant. Because not everything called that is actually a stimulant worth injecting into the skin. Often, a stimulant is simply non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. This is a more sophisticated form of mesotherapy, perhaps because it contains certain cocktails. It contains certain ingredients that are also not fully tested and proven, and are simply labeled a stimulant. Pay attention to this when choosing a product. I know that you're increasingly paying attention to what you're applying to your face. What kind of product is it, how long has it been on the market, what research and reviews it has. And don't jump at every new product that simply isn't tested, is of unknown origin, has been on the market for six months, and is appearing more and more frequently in many places on the Polish market. I'll disclaim right away that I don't know all the names of the different types of tissue stimulators. Because there are tons of them. And as I told you, there are simply more and more of these fancy-named stimulants on the market. I don't know them all. Even if I've heard the name, I can't know the effects of every product and have, let's say, a personal opinion. I know what I'm working with. I know that what I'm working with is researched, of genuinely good quality, and something I would administer myself. So, I have my own knowledge on this topic, and I can help and advise here. But I simply can't know every single product because there are simply so many of them. Treatment number 3 is essentially a whole pool of treatments that should be performed in a series, and you only want to do them once. There are some treatments that require a full series for the full effect. Whether it's 3 treatments, 5 treatments, or 10, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what type of treatment.
