Starting with one pork shank, I seasoned the meat thoroughly with salt, pepper, and cumin, which gave it a distinctive flavor. I placed 800g of sauerkraut at the bottom of the pot, which provided an aromatic base for the pork shank. I added a large, sliced ​​carrot, two onions, and a few dried mushrooms to the cabbage, adding a richer flavor. I placed the pork shank on top and then poured a glass of light beer over it, giving the dish a unique aroma and juiciness. I also added two bay leaves and a pinch of peppercorns and sweet paprika to enhance the flavor.
