The Indic Paradigm of Spirituality I Swami Sarvapriyananda I Oxford Bhāratī

Oxford Bhā-Ratī is a platform curated and operated by the students of Oxford University, for facilitating conversations on India and her civilisation, from the Indian perspective. The platform has hosted speakers and panellist from the University of Oxford and Public intelligentsia to discuss philosophies and ideas--ranging from law, governance, ethics, history, and spirituality, to technology, economics, business and medicine--from Indian- Bhāratīya lens. On 11th August 2025, Oxford Bhā-Ratī hosted Swami Sarvapriyananda, the minister-in-charge of the Vedanta Society of New York, at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies. Swami Sarvapriyananda completed his MBA before joining the Ramakrishna Order as a monk. He served as a teacher at a school run by the Ramakrishna Mission in Deoghar, as the first Registrar of the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University at Belur Math, Howrah, India, and as an Acharya at the monastic Training Centre (TC) at Ramakrishna Math and Mission. The Swami was posted to the U.S.A. in 2015. He studied at the Harvard Divinity School, Harvard University. He has been the minister-in charge of the Vedanta Centre of New York--a centre started by Swami Vivekananda in 1894--and is a teacher of Vedanta and other schools of Indian philosophy.
