From Galaxidi, we sail through the Corinth Canal, past the small island of Trizonia and the charming town of Nafpaktos, towards Messolonghi. On the way, we have to sail under the Rio-Antirrio Bridge and obtain clearance to pass under it by radio. A truly impressive structure! With a good following wind, we continue sailing to Messolonghi, where Dirk first installs the new engine mounts. The last evening in Greece is unforgettable. Heike and Peter invite us into the mountains for a wonderful walk followed by dinner at Anatolis Cafebar. The farewell to Greece couldn't have been more perfect. From now on, we're only sailing west.
