Odalin: How to Store the Free Update Pack

The free Odalin update pack adds new cards, components, and organizational challenges. Once I started integrating the update into my campaign, I realized many players would have the same question: Where does everything go? In this video I walk through every component in the free Dragori Games update pack and show exactly how I store it in my Odalin insert. I compare the new components against the original storage layout, explain what changes, and demonstrate where each piece belongs. The update pack introduces several component changes that affect how the campaign is organized. Rather than leaving players to figure it out through trial and error, I decided to document the entire process and walk through every change step by step. As I work through the update, I show: • What each new component is • What existing component it replaces • Where it fits inside the insert • How the updated organization supports campaign play The goal isn’t simply to make everything fit. I want the storage system to continue supporting the campaign-aware workflow that inspired the insert in the first place. By keeping related components together and maintaining the evolving structure of the campaign, setup remains fast and progression remains easy to manage from session to session. Artisan Worlds explores board games through a design lens. I study how physical components influence the experience of playing a game, then experiment with ways to improve organization, usability, immersion, and table presence. I’m not building components for people who simply have a game. I’m building them for people who love a game.
