2022 Mazda CX-5 Dash Camera Wiring

In this video I explain different fuse types and which ones to use in the 2022 Mazda CX-5 in order to hard wire a dash cam. When wiring, the goal is to find a fuse that comes on with ON and not with ACC. In most cars, if you use a fuse tied to ACC, ACC is powered down while the car starts. This will cause the dash cam to shut off then turn back on which over time short power cycles could damage the dash cam. IMPORTANT: On some cars, like the Hyundai Palisade, certain fuses lose power when auto/start stop initiates. So you may have to play around a bit to find the perfect fuse to tap.
