Basquiat: Boom for Real. Retrospective at Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt

The Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) is currently dedicating a major survey to Jean-Michel Basquiat. Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988) is recognized as one of the most significant painters of the 20th century. The retrospective at the Schirn Kunsthalle features more than 100 works. The show places his work within a broader cultural context by focusing on Jean-Michel Basquiat's relationship to music, text, film and television. The exhibition runs until May 27, 2018.
