Pesquisador fala quais doenças atacam o rebanho de ovinos - 14/09/2017

Brazil has a flock of over 18 million sheep, according to 2015 IBGE data. The Central-West region ranks third, with just over 1 million head, equivalent to almost 5.6% of the national herd. In Mato Grosso do Sul, there are 505,000 head. For these numbers to improve, it's essential that the flock be healthy, disease-free, and capable of increasing productivity. On this topic, host Antonio Gustavo spoke with Dr. Marcos Barbosa Ferreira, researcher, professor, and project coordinator at Uniderp's sheep technology center.
