Princess Leonor of Bourbon receives the Medal of Asturias from the President of the Principality, Adrián Barbón. This is the highest distinction awarded by the regional government, and thus the Princess of Asturias follows in the footsteps of her father, King Felipe VI, who 38 years ago, in 1986, received the Principality's highest distinction. The presentation will take place at the University of Oviedo library, located in the historic building of the academic institution, a ceremony where we will hear from the Princess.
