Five Republic Services Garbage Trucks Collecting on an Early Thursday Morning in Daly City

(Thank you all for 100 subscribers, it really means a lot!) During a trip to the Bay Area, I headed out to the Thursday route in Daly City to see what trucks were running. The Broadmoor area, an unincorporated area of San Mateo County, caught my eye as the street layout and homes looked completely different from Daly City's and had a lot more windy and hilly streets. Republic starts collection super early, and I was able to track trucks as early as 3AM. I presume this serves the purpose to compensate for the lost time navigating tight streets (some require raising the arm at every stop to dodge parked cars as you will see), or the traffic caused by the two schools in the area. The trucks are pretty unique compared to other Republic yards in California in that they are ordered with low entry cabs and 12 foot reach. I was planning to catch the Autocars as they are beginning to showing their age, but unfortunately it looks like just one runs in the area I was in, and that driver was really not fond of me filming, so excuse this rather Peterbilt-heavy mix of trucks.
