I Tried Running a MAXIMUM TAX CITY... and It Actually Worked

What happens if you set taxes to the absolute maximum in Cities: Skylines 2? In this experiment, I tried to build a fully functioning city while charging citizens and businesses the highest taxes possible. The goal was simple: make as much money as possible and see if the city could still survive under extreme economic pressure. At first, the massive tax income feels completely overpowered. Money starts flooding in, and expanding the city becomes incredibly easy. But it doesn’t take long before the consequences start appearing. Citizens begin complaining, businesses struggle to survive, and parts of the economy start collapsing under the weight of the insane tax rates. What begins as a “get rich quick” strategy quickly turns into a fight to stop the entire city from falling apart. The real question is: Can a city survive maximum taxation… or does greed eventually destroy everything? 🔥 Subscribe for more Cities: Skylines 2 experiments and cursed city challenges 👍 Like if you would instantly leave this city 💬 Comment what extreme economic challenge I should try next #CitiesSkylines2 #CityBuilder #UrbanPlanning #CS2Challenge #Simulation #CityExperiment
