Man Out of Time Bass Cover

Lots of info here... Bruce Thomas has another book out! It's titled, "Strange Affairs". He writes them quicker than I can read them. I just got my copy today and can't wait to dig into it. Here's the Amazon link - https://a.co/d/8sBSimx Here's what Bruce had to say about this song - "If you listen to this track on the Imperial Bedroom album, it is bookended with a couple of one-chord thrashes. The whole song was originally like that. But as with all of the tracks on the album, they were rehearsed one way, and then spontaneously rearranged into a different genre in the studio. For example: ‘Tears Before Bedtime’ was a 6/8 ballad in the style of Lennon’s ‘Starting Over’, but became more of a New Orleans groove. I can’t recall the process whereby ‘Man Out of Time’ became the majestic ballad that it did. I know I didn’t need to do much to embellish this one as the rising chord sequence of the chorus stands by itself. To me it has a Dylanesque feel. The best version of this song is the one we did live on Jools Holland’s show -    • MAN OUT OF TIME (LIVE) - ELVIS COSTELLO & ...   " "Man Out of Time" by Elvis Costello and The Attractions off of their 'Imperial Bedroom' album which came out in 1982 and featured Bruce Thomas on bass. I'm playing the Bruce Thomas Profile Signature Bass through a Genzler Magellan Preamp pedal.
