Pere Marquette 1225 - Freedom Flyer 6/15/24

Pere Marquette 1225 is back in steam for the start of summer in Michigan! As part of the Arsenal of Freedom celebration weekend, there was the Freedom Flyer excursion running from Owosso to Ashley. The Village of Ashley was hosting a vintage baseball game along with food and ice cream stands, classic cars and music. PM 1225 took the lead for the run to Ashley, with PNLX 57 hauling the 4 car train back to Owosso. The chase was relatively tame and thankfully I didn't encounter any crazy drivers lol. This was my first time seeing 1225 operating outside of winter, so it was a nice change of pace.
