LOC EXTENSIONS | PROS AND CONS of Installing Loc Extensions | DIY Braidlocs

I am speaking from personal experience and have seen the great, the bad and the ugly of Loc extensions. Pros 1) You have instant length to your locs that you didn’t have before 2) You can choose the length so you can go from dl hughley length locs to rupunzeling immediately 3) You can wash your locs same day and there after and not worry about unraveling 4) you can achieve styles you couldn’t prior to the extensions Cons 1) You still go through the same stages (shrinkage, budding, expanding, swelling) 2) as the years go by you may experience slippage where locs slip off completely 3) sometimes the extensions will slip down a little bit and there is a very viable line of demarcation 4) the weight of the added hair can cause your locs to thin over time either in the length of your Loc or even from the root THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
