Case Information 1: In 2017, while serving time in prison, Trieu Hai An became friends with three inmates who all had prior convictions. They are Dao Duc Dao, born in 1994, from Phu Ly City, Ha Nam province (with 2 prior convictions for "Illicitly Buying and Selling Drugs" and "Violating Traffic Regulations"); Nguyen Van Tien, born in 1975, residing in Tran Hung Dao Ward, Nam Dinh City (with 5 prior convictions for "Theft of Property," "Resisting Persons on Duty," "Illicitly Possessing Drugs") and Trieu Hoang Trung, born in 1992, residing in Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province (with a prior conviction for "Theft of Property"). These four inmate friends made an agreement that after their release, they would establish a drug line from Song Ma district, Son La province to Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, and Thai Binh provinces for distribution. Case Information 2: According to the indictment, on the evening of April 23, 2023, on National Highway 4A in Ban Xa hamlet, Thang Loi commune, Ha Lang district, Cao Bang province, functional forces caught Hoang Van Buu red-handed for the act of illicitly possessing drugs, seizing 1 heroin brick. After quickly interrogating Hoang Van Buu, the police force continued to seize 9 heroin bricks in a cave in the forest in Ban Xa hamlet. Expanding the investigation, the police agency continued to discover and seize an additional 14 heroin bricks hidden by La Van Chung in a mountain crevice in the forest in Ban Xa hamlet, Thang Loi commune, Ha Lang district. Chung confessed that the 24 heroin bricks seized by the investigating agency belonged to Dao Van Hong, who had given them to Chung for sale. Case Information 3: After many days and nights of persistent surveillance, on August 10, 2024, in the mountain peak area bordering the Pu Kep region, the Special Task Force caught Va Ba Denh (born in 1989, living in Huoi Moi village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district) red-handed for the act of illicitly buying and selling drugs.
