A Sick Box Project

If you're watching this, it means I'm sick at home… So let's make something beautiful together. This is a proper rainy day project: a handmade decorative tissue box, cover wrapped in gorgeous red and white floral tissue paper that turns an ordinary tissue box into something worth keeping on your shelf. I'll show you how to build the rectangular box from scratch, how to wrap it cleanly so the floral pattern stays aligned and looks intentional, and most importantly, how to handle the oval opening on the lid. That oval cutout is where most people get stuck, and I'll walk you through a clean wrapping technique so it looks just as polished as the rest of the box. This is the kind of small paper craft upgrade that genuinely improves your space, and it's a satisfying project to work through on a slow, quiet day at home.
