THE PHILIPPINES HAS A FLOATING SCHOOL! Filipino children in Barangay Tampalan, Isabela City, Basilan, live on the water. And their school is also on the water! You see, this is a Badjao community. And the 1100 elementary age children go to school in a familiar setting for them. The school buildings might look like the standard DepEd design - but they are built on stilts, elevated above the water! First, we head to the last island of Isabela, Lampinigan.
