The Magnificent 'Growler' D6948 at the West Somerset Railway 5 & 6/05/2019

I just had to visit the WSR to see the superbly restored English Electric Type 3 D6948, normally based on the Gloucester and Warwick Railway, working on the West Somerset Railway, on the first time this loco has left it's home Base. It was wonderful to meed one of it's co-owners Kev Jarvis, and we enjoyed seeing it working on Sunday afternoon, and travelled behind her on Monday. An experience I shall never forget, this locomotive is in ex works condition, and loved be everyone that saw her. The First part covers some lineside footage, and the second part showing the highlights of out runs on the Sunday.
