Closed - Might not look like a completed rectangle, but all of the lines form a complete loop. 2. Open - The outer loop of the faucet sketch is incomplete. If filled with water, the water would spill out. 3. Closed - Loop is complete and the sketch is shaded. 4. Open - Loops are incomplete and the part has no shading. 5. Open - The loop seems complete, but it is the result of two incomplete overlapped sketches. Hint: Cursor hovering over sketch in the design tree. 6. Open - The sketch is not shaded despite the Shaded Sketch Contours option being enabled. A bit of a trick question. This is not a 2D sketch, it is a 3D sketch (something we will learn about in the future). 7. Both - SolidWorks will sometimes struggle to determine what closed (areas) sketches to shade if a sketch contains multiple intersections.
