What the world needs is hope and healing one step at a time. 8/10 people polled don't have any interest in religion, but 8/10 people polled have an interest in God. If you believe in a God that tortures people forever burning in hell, or if you believe in a God that predestines who gets saved and who doesn't -- then I don't want to believe in that kind of God. But I DO believe in God, so I would be almost an atheist. God is love and love is freedom. If you are being forced to love then that is not truly love! With freedom comes risk that a person chooses not to love. Sadly that is what has happened in our world. People have chosen not to love God, and look at the mess we are in now.
