Dear diary, This season has looked different than I expected. After choosing obedience, I’ve been learning how to find gratitude in the ordinary … walking miles instead of always driving, grocery shopping with intention, taking care of my health, preparing my home, and becoming wiser with what God has placed in my hands. With the economy being uncertain and rent being expensive, I’ve been asking myself: “How do I steward what I have well?” Not from fear. From wisdom. This vlog is a glimpse into my first few days of walking, preparing, resetting, and embracing a slower pace. A season that could look like isolation to some, but feels like refinement to me. Even Jesus stepped away into solitude. Sometimes God removes the noise because He’s building something deeper. A caterpillar doesn’t grow in the open … it goes into the hidden place. The cocoon isn’t punishment. It’s preparation. “‘What you are doing is not good”, Moses’ father-in-law replied. “You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out.
