On September 13, 1969, Jerry Lee Lewis took the stage at the Toronto Peace Festival (Toronto Rock and Roll Revival) at Varsity Stadium, alongside legends like Chuck Berry, Little Richard, and John Lennon’s Plastic Ono Band. Few days before the show, Jerry went to Las Vegas' International Hotel invited by Elvis himself. The King was unsure about his comeback and as he was surrounded by "yes" men, he didn’t' trust their opinion. that is why Jerry was invited - Elvis knew Jerry would be honest with him.
