RG43V PRO Retro Handheld w/ Built in Game Downloader - PSP + N64 + Dreamcast…

In this video I take a full look at the RG43V PRO handheld console by AISLPC, going through unboxing, build quality, UI systems, and real gameplay testing across multiple retro platforms. It’s powered by the RK3562 chipset, has a 4.3” display with an aspect ratio of 4:3 with a resolution of 1024x768 and has a 4,000mAh battery. After spending time with it, my overall impression is that it’s a solid budget handheld with a few noticeable compromises, but also some genuinely strong features for the price. The D-pad is serviceable rather than great. It holds up well enough for fighting games like Street Fighter II. It also works well with games like Contra and I didn’t run into false inputs during slower precision games like Tetris. The Hall effect thumbsticks feel good and are positioned well compared to most vertical handhelds. The face buttons feel light and snappy, but there is a shared connection between A and B, and X and Y, which is something to be aware of depending on how sensitive you are to button separation. In terms of build, the device is fairly lightweight for its size but still feels durable enough for everyday use. The screen is sharp and vibrant, and audio output is clear without distortion at normal volumes. One of the stronger aspects of this handheld is the ergonomics. Compared to many vertical devices, the rounded rear grips and inset thumbsticks make it more comfortable and reduce accidental inputs when using the D-pad or face buttons. The dual UI system is also a nice addition. EmuELEC is better suited for users familiar with retro handheld frontends, while the proprietary interface is more beginner-friendly and easier to navigate. The built-in game downloading feature is surprisingly convenient, making it simple to search for and install games directly without extra setup steps. WiFi performance was stable during testing, and the connection remained strong throughout use. Battery life appears solid thanks to the 4000mAh battery, though long-term endurance will depend on brightness, system load, and emulation demands. Overall, the RG43V PRO is a capable handheld with a few rough edges, but it delivers a pretty good experience if you know what you’re getting into.
