(Full episode) The beach season in Spain is officially just around the corner, and that means the De Weijer family is going to run the Xiringuito again on the beach promenade in Blanes! A gigantic milestone for our Spanish dream! 🌴🇪🇸 At the same time, we are saying a heartfelt goodbye to someone. In this new episode of Familie de Weijer gaat lekker door (Family De Weijer Keeps Going), you will see how the Chiringuito beach bar is finally being prepared and hoisted towards the Paladijs Boulevard using large cranes. A super exciting and spectacular job! But there is much more happening on the estate. Our helper José comes by to plow the rock-hard soil. As soon as the horses (including our new horses!) see the soft, fresh sand, they immediately start rolling around and taking a sand bath. We also roll up our sleeves in the fruit garden, where we plant the beautiful fruit trees we received from Grandma Ger. Finally, we wrap up the video with a delicious traditional paella, because unfortunately, after three fantastic weeks, it is time for Grandma to leave again before the extreme Spanish summer heat sets in.
