Nine Years to Close - Kwasi Atuah (Major)

Mr. Akwasi Aboagye Atuah is a Ghanaian entrepreneur and business leader, best known as the founder and CEO of Lifeforms Group/Lifeforms Limited, a company he has led since 1987. He began his career in film production and directing, producing corporate videos and documentaries, and later became known as a pioneer of airtime sales and programme syndication in Ghana, helping bring major international TV content to Ghanaian screens. He later repositioned Lifeforms from media into infrastructure and project development, leading or initiating projects in areas such as rural electrification, broadcasting studio rehabilitation, TV broadcast equipment supply across West Africa, and redevelopment work for NAFTI. He has also been involved in strategic investments in Ghanaian banks and has served on boards in banking, insurance, pharmaceuticals, logistics, hospitality, and real estate. He is currently noted as Board Chairman of Phytoriker Pharmaceuticals and SIC Life, among other directorships. Academically, he holds an Executive MBA from CEIBS and a Diploma in Film Production/Directing from NAFTI. Beyond business, he is a long-serving Rotarian, has led social and economic development initiatives through Rotary, and is described by peers as tenacious, creative, and full of drive. He also believes strongly in giving back, which inspired the Forms Foundation and his advisory/partnership links with Acumen Fund West Africa. He is married to Anna and has four children
