We explored this beautiful yet rustic abandoned family home in the heart of a cool, damp forest, right next to a river that runs through the area. The house once belonged to a large family who took advantage of its strategic location to open a small inn on the ground floor, where they provided food and rest to hikers on the trail. For decades, the business thrived thanks to the constant flow of walkers and the lively chatter of the children who helped run it. However, not many years ago, an unexpected event changed the family's fortunes, forcing them to leave abruptly. No one from the family ever returned to claim the property or collect their belongings, leaving the business and the upstairs rooms exactly as they were on their last day. Now, the dampness of the forest is beginning to take its toll on the structure, while inside the inn, only dust, disarray, and utter neglect prevail.
