Whiston 2 Huyton. A childhood walk.

One of my earliest memories is of walking from our house in Whiston to my Gran and Granddads house On HIllside avenue in Huyton; the house I was born in nearly 71 years ago. We would do this walk in the summer. My mum with the Silver Cross pram that had my sister Lynn in. My older brother Tony and me, Little old 4 year old me. We didn't think of it as a Big walk but more of an adventure, plus we got to play on the swings and have sweets on the way. Come with me as I retrace the walk and see how places have changed and sadly not always for the better. Hope you enjoy it.
