Why I didn't install an Adjustable Cam Gear in my Triumph TR6 Engine
This channel is about things I learn that are not in the manual as I restore one of my Triumphs. Today I did a short video as a follow on to two other videos, one on aligning the cam gear, and the other on degreeing the cam. While doing these two things I discovered some reasons NOT to install an adjustable cam gear, and something about the Powertune Vernier gear that gave me pause. This video records those findings. If you aren't familiar with aligning or degreeing a cam, you might watch the other videos first.
