My custom Carbonda CFR-707 gravel bike, ordered directly from the factory in China and built around a professional idmatch bike fit instead of a catalogue size. Custom glossy paint in RAL 5005 Signal Blue and RAL 9016 Traffic White with "Per Aspera" lettering – my own design, executed by Carbonda. FRAMESET • Frame: Carbonda CFR-707, size XS, T700/T800 carbon, UDH hanger, threaded BSA bottom bracket, internal routing • Fork: full carbon, thru-axle 12×100 • Frameset package: $1,061 USD (frame, fork, two headset options, both axles, custom paint, shipping and fees included) • Real weights: frame 1360 g, fork 630 g (uncut steerer) BUILD • Drivetrain: Shimano GRX 2×10 (RX400/RX600), 46/30T crankset, 165 mm cranks, 11–34 cassette • Brakes: Shimano GRX RX400 hydraulic, 160 mm rotors • Wheels: Dandy Horse GR-30 carbon, DT Swiss 350 hubs (36T ratchet), 27 mm internal, 1480 g • Tyres: Tufo Thundero HD 44 mm, tubeless with Orange Seal • Cockpit: Pro Discover Ergo 420 mm (67 mm reach), 75 mm stem, Lizard Skins DSP 3.2 tape • Saddle: Specialized Power Expert with Mirror 130 mm on BBB FlyPost carbon (212 g) • Rear axle: Robert Axle Project Kid Thru (Qeridoo trailer-ready) • Cables: Jagwire Pro Shift Kit PCK500 WEIGHT 10.12 kg in full riding configuration (pedals, cages, bell, mounts, trailer axle) / ~9.7 kg stripped. About 1 kg lighter than my upgraded Tabou Gravo 3.0 with the same components, 2.1 kg lighter than the stock Tabou. FIT Position transferred 1:1 from a professional idmatch Bikelab fitting: saddle height 661 mm, setback 163 mm, 51 mm drop. The steerer is deliberately uncut for the first test rides – cutting carbon is permanent, testing first is common sense.
